R Fackler

Rhys has grown so much this year and last year. He is always excited to come to school, usually with a big smile on his face. He has been working hard to follow classroom routines and rules.

claire

Today, we have the great honor of recognizing one of our incredible 5th Graders — Claire Brown!  Claire is the kind of student who lights up a room just by walking into it. She is kind, hard-working, and deeply empathetic. Whether she's putting in extra effort on an assignment or offering to help a classmate who’s stuck on a tricky concept, Claire always shows us what it means to care about others and do your best. But Claire isn’t just a great student — she’s a great person.

Samsone tegge

Samson Tegge is Williams Avenue Elementary’s Rising Star!  He is an outgoing, caring,  and thoughtful kindergartener.  It is apparent to teachers and peers that Samson comes to school every day on time, prepared and intrinsically motivated to do his best and try his hardest. He is an exceptional student who takes pride in his work. Samson is equipped with a positive, infectious attitude to those around him.

Gus Bertke

Augustus (Gus) Bertke, a 4th grader at Williams Avenue Elementary, has earned the Rising Star Award for being a leader who sets a positive example by working hard and helping others.  He is committed to doing his best while consistently showing respect and kindness to those around him.
